These terms cover your use of SharedLayers — the website at sharedlayers.com, the Chrome extension, and the commenting widget. Using any of them means accepting them.

SharedLayers places comments over web pages as you view them. The comments are stored by us and are visible only to people you invite — they are never shown to anyone else visiting that page, and they do not alter the page for anyone.
You agree not to use it to:
You keep all rights to the comments you write. You grant us only the permission needed to store them, show them to the people you share a layer with, and back them up. We claim no ownership and will not use your content to promote the service without asking.
Whoever creates a layer controls it: they can invite people, remove them, and delete the layer. Deleting a layer hides it immediately and erases it permanently after seven days, including every comment in it. Anyone holding a layer's access key can join that layer, so treat a key like a password.
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service altogether, we will give reasonable notice and a way to export your comments.
SharedLayers is currently free to use, with limits that may apply to the free plan. If paid plans are introduced, prices, billing terms and refunds will be stated before you are asked to pay, and existing free use will not become chargeable without notice.
You may stop using SharedLayers and delete your account whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and will explain why unless prevented by law.
The service is provided as-is. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death, personal injury, or intentional harm. Statutory consumer rights under Polish and EU law are unaffected.
Polish law applies. Consumers may bring proceedings in the courts of their own country of residence; for business users the courts of Poland have jurisdiction.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on this page and, for account holders, by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use SharedLayers after that means accepting them.
